WARMBLOODS by Rachel Peterson announced on Publishers Marketplace

Beyond excited to share that my second book, WARMBLOODS, officially arrives summer 2027 with Simon & Schuster! The YA thriller follows a group of teen competitors at an elite equestrian training camp, where rivalry, romance and scandal converge at the highest levels of sport and status.

Win the Grand Prix and everything is yours: Fame, fortune and a seat on the international show circuit most riders would kill for. But place second, and you might find yourself losing more than your seat … when one competitor is found dead after an annual camp tradition, our rivals sharpen their knives to defend their answers to the infamous question asked on day one, “What would winning the North Skye Grand Prix mean to you?”

On a personal note, this plot has been obsessively on my mind since I returned to riding years ago – plenty of nods to the equestrian life and iykyk horse girl moments! But most of all, I cannot wait for you to get to know these unforgettable characters … and the secrets they would do anything to keep. See you next summer on the show circuit.
